BMAT – Music Rights Monitoring & Reporting
The first one from the series of BMAT music rights & monitoring related applications. Radio & TV channels monitoring, auto-matching cue sheets with the existing database, (manually) reviewing errors and managing missing metadata of the artists, labels, translators and related things.
Later on, managing budgets and distributing royalties to the artists & labels and resolving conflicts about different music rights in certain territories. The short summary of a very specific and complex system :) Localized in a few languages.
My role included lead UX design and UI design for the application based on the brand’s colorful identity. The main challenges were organizing loads of table-alike data, substracting the most important part of information while not forgetting any of tiny metadata which can lead to confusion in royalties distribution.
